University of Nebraska Omaha Commencement
9:00-10:30 Pep Bowl
A university-wide celebration of all UNO student achievements, graduating students and faculty will join in a processional into the Pep Bowl, where the Chancellor will confer all degrees and conduct the education specialist and Doctoral hooding. Students must check in at HPER 128 by 8:15 am dressed in academic regalia and ready to be placed in marching order according to college by the Undergraduate Marshal and personnel from the Records and Registration Office.
11:30-12:30 Scott Conference Center
A celebration of all College of Information Science & Technology undergraduate and graduate achievements, graduating students and faculty will join a processional into Scott Conference Center to be individually recognized and receive a diploma cover and gift from the College. Participating students must check in at Scott Conference Center by 11:00 am dressed in academic regalia and ready to be placed in marching order according to your school by the student marshals and College of IS&T staff.
IS&T Reception Lunch
12:30-1:30 Scott Conference Center
All faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, and their guests are invited to a buffet luncheon reception immediately following the IS&T Commencement ceremony. A photo booth will be available to capture candid memories of the day, along with a photographer for more formal pictures.
NO tickets are necessary for any of these events, but please RSVP here.
Free parking will be available on all surface lots and in both Dodge Campus garages. Shuttles will run between the Dodge and Pacific Campuses all day beginning at 7:30 a.m. College of IS&T students and their families are encouraged to park in Lots 14 and 9 near Scott Conference Center and ride the shuttle to Dodge Campus for the University of Nebraska Omaha Commencement and back for the IS&T Commencement and reception. Students parking on Dodge Campus are encouraged to use the garages to free up surface parking for out of town guests.
